The Snickerdoodle was named after the very serious Englishman Alistaire Cornelius Doodle who was caught with his fly down while chatting up a group of ladies at a local bake shop who were trying to enjoy afternoon tea while snacking on these delicious cookies.

Well, not really. The truth is that the Snickerdoodle cookie was invented by a German baker who added cinnamon and a few other secret ingredients to the classic sugar cookie. We've added a secret ingredient or two of our own to make our gluten free cookies truly special. So share them with friends, and tell them the story of Mr. Doodle--it's a much better story anyway.
